Movies update

I have been watching allot of movies lately and thought I would share what I thought about them, some are old some are new but they were movies I had never seen for one reason of another.

I will give movies a 1-5 rating five being the best

Antichrist- 4.5
Directed by Lars von Trier and staring: Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg
This movie is the craziest thing i have ever seen in my life , its about a couple who’s son dies . they are both struggling with their emotions and how to deal with the death of their son. Charlotte is absolutely AMAZING as the woman who is having the worst time of it.
I don’t know what demons Lars has inside his head but makes on hell of a scary movie. I don’t think i have been more creeped / freaked out by everything in this movie . its filled with beautiful , scary and unique scenes that make it the whole film impact you in a very emotional way. I would recommend seeing it but only if you can handle some freaky crap .

The Professional -3.5
Director: Luc Besson, Staring: Jean Reno, Gary Oldman and Natalie Portman
This was a good movie but not as awesome as I thought it would have been considering all the hype i have heard about it over the years.

Ammores Perros 3
Director: Alejandro González Iñárritu Staring: Emilio Echevarría, Gael García Bernal and Goya Toledo
SUCH a sad, sad, sad movie . lots of dogs dying lots of me crying good movie but sad

Super 8-4.5
Director: J.J. Abrams
Writer: J.J. Abrams, Staring: Elle Fanning, Amanda Michalka and Kyle Chandler
WHAT an AWESOME MOVIE , I have not been so completely engrossed in a movie in a long time , it was amazing. made me want to be a child again.

Gone in Sixty Seconds-2
Director: Dominic Sena, Stars: Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie and Giovanni Ribisi, Robert Duvall, Timmothy Olyphant and Chi McBride
Stupid movie cool cars

Bad Santa-2
Director: Terry Zwigoff, Stars: Billy Bob Thornton, Bernie Mac and Lauren Graham
Dumb movie but I laughed my ass off

Ringu – 1
Director: Hideo Nakata,Stars: Nanako Matsushima, Miki Nakatani and Yûko Takeuchi
The Original RING movie , its more boring that the English one and did not have any or the jump or creep that Ju-on had.

Tampopo – 1
Director: Jûzô Itami, Stars: Ken Watanabe, Tsutomu Yamazaki and Nobuko Miyamoto
This has got to be the craziest movie EVER , its about some lady with a noddle shop whose story is somewhat entertaining . The rest of the 16 hour movie is filled with weird people and stories that make no sense.

Drive -5
Director: Nicolas Winding Refn, Stars: Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan and Bryan Cranston
Fantastic movie about a wheel man in LA , the score, the actors , the city ALL AMAZING. this is the movie to beat in my eyes absolutely AMAZING. Ryan Gosling is awesome, Albert Brooks is crazy evil . Its like watching a beautiful painting violently explode in front of you. PREFECTION

The Ides of March -3
Directed by George Clooney Staring- Ryan Gosling, George Clooney,Philip Seymour Hoffman,Paul Giamatti,Evan Rachel Wood,Marisa Tomei,Jeffrey Wright,Max Minghella and Jennifer Ehle
UHHHHHHHHH let me down , i was expecting the movie of the year and i got a decent movie . you have an amazing director , and some of the worlds best actors. WHY did we not utilize them ? why was Marisa Tomei only given 15 lines and where was Jennifer Ehle ( awesome in Contagion) I enjoyed this movie but it was not what i had envisioned or wanted.
